Week 5 : Types of Research
Social resaerch may be distributed into different types based on either the purpose of research, or the time required to accomplish research, on the environment in which research is done, or on the basis of some other similar factor like the type of knowledge one aims to produce, the type of data one will collect and analyze and the sampling methods etc. As the prvious lesson discussed about Academic and Private Research; Pure and Applied Research; and Cross-Sectional and Longitudinal Research, this lesson will focus on Co-relational Research; Causal Research;Exploratory Research; Descriptive Research; and Explanatory Research .
