Week 4: Types of Research
There are different types of resaerch which may be distributed based on either the purpose of research, or the time required to accomplish research, on the environment in which research is done, or on the basis of some other similar factor. One of the fundamental division of research is in the context of Academic and Private Research; the other is Pure and Applied Research; and from the point of view of time there are Cross-Sectional and Longitudinal Research. This lesson will focus on these three types including: Academic and Private Research; Pure and Applied Research; and Cross-Sectional and Longitudinal Research.
