Week 16: Which English and Why (Pedagogical Perspective)

There are varieties of Native and Non-Native Englishes. But when in comes to language teaching in Pakistan, the question arises which model of English should be adopted for langauge teaching/learning purposes. Whether it should be British English or American? Or whether it should be non-native indiginised standard as the English language we speak will be used in local context.

This session will bring the pedagogical issues into focus.
