week 6: chapter 5 (Animation) half covered + Practical work

Kinematics is the study of the movement and motion of structures that have joints, such as a walking man. Animating a walking step is tricky: you need to calculate the position, rotation, velocity, and acceleration of all the joints and articulated parts involved—knees bend, hips flex, shoulders swing, and the head movement.

Practical work: pen tool practice on heart shape and on cartoon’s hair.
