week 5: chapter 4 (sound) complete + practical work

Appropriate use of sound requires technical considerations of disk space or bandwidth as well as the abilities of the authoring system to use various file formats and compression algorithms. A codec (compressor-decompressor) is software that compresses a stream of audio or video data for storage or transmission, then decompresses it for playback.

practical work: :  Insertion of mp3 sound in audacity, working on multiple tracks,  Format conversion in audacity.
