Heart is covered by Pericardium Heart lies with 2nd to 5th rib. It has a base, a body and an apex
HORSE Weight of the heart is 5 kg
Caudal part is straight cranial is convex
Heart position is oblique
OX Apex of the heart is more pointed
Base of the heart is smaller
Os-cardis is present, Heart position is less oblique
More fat around the coronary groove
DOG Apex of the heart is rounded
