This course is based on history and development of mass media in the sub-continent and in the world. The course is also based on different important topics of media like feminism, violence and effects of violence. This course highlights the term globalization its impact on the world positive and negative effects.

OBJECTIVES

  • Students will be able to know about the development of media in the sub-continent;
  • Students will be able to know the growth of telegraph and effects of Globalization and issues like feminism, media, media violence and its effects;
  • Students will be able to know about the media coverage techniques, media and war on terrorism, media and internet.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Students will have knowledge about the history and development of media in the sub-continent;
  • Students will have full understanding of the subject;
  • Students will have knowledge about different issues like feminism, violence and effects of media violence.
