Objective:

By the endof the lecture students should be able to describe

  1. Microscopic features of cortex and medulla of kidney.
  2. The histology of renal corpuscles, Proximal and distal tubules, loop of henle , collecting tubules and ducts.
  3. The histological features of juxtaglomerular apparatus.
