First Information Report
Whenever an offence is committed, then to bring the law in motion, law requires that the person who has seen the occurance must have to reveal the facts of the same before the law enforcement agency. Whereby law enforcement agency may investigate upon the various aspects of commission of offence. FIR is the first information report of the commission of an offence. After an FIR is lodged then law enforcement agency starts to collect evidence/s for the purpose of their investigation.Whereafter a report of investigation to be known as Challan is submitted before the trail court for the initiation of trail proceedings.
