An adverb is a word or phrase that modifies or qualifies a verb, an adjective or another adverb.

It expresses the relation of place, time, circumstances, manner, cause, degree etc.

For example, Gently, quite, then, there etc

Mostly, the adverbs end with "-ly". For example, happily, strongly, quickly etc.
