The course is in continuation of Islamic Personal Law-I. The students being acquainted with the guiding principles of Islamic Law confronted in their personal lives will be prepared to further study deeply and comprehensively in this semester. After completion of the study, the students will be enabled to acknowledge the excellence of the course.

Intended Learning outcomes

As this course relates to personal laws of Muslims and useful for daily life. It would be great addition in their knowledge and will helpful in practice of family as well as civil Law.

On successful completion of this course students will learn:

  • Basic principles of Islamic personal law
  • Application of Islamic personal law
  • Impact of various case laws on development of Islamic personal law.
  • The scope application and extent of The Succession Act & Punjab Pre-emption Act,1991.

Assessment Criteria

Sessional Marks includes Short Assignment(s)/ Quiz(s)/Project/Presentation/Class Participation: 20 Marks

Mid-Term Exam: 30 Marks

Final Exam:   50 Marks
