Question/Assignment/Topic/Area

1. Teachers will provide topic(s) related to course (to be selected form given course outlines and contents discussed in the classes.

2. However, teachers may invite students to analyze and discuss things in current situation.

3. Topic should encourage students to surf the web, reading articles, news, magazines, and blogs to get ideas for the assignment.

4. Question should be more elaborative, detailed and should fulfill the objectives of course as well as interesting for students.

5. Students should be invited toward self-writing, besides exploring other sources of knowledge.

 

Keeping in view nature of the subjects following guidelines should be kept in mind.

1. Topic. Assignment of theory-based subjects shall consist of one detailed question from course outlines discussed during the class; this question should include theoretical perspectives as well student should be asked to write examples from Pakistan; also, relation of the concepts or ideas with current environment. Question should invite self-writing/ analysis. This assignment should consist of minimum 3000-4000 words (detailed format is attached).

(4) Examples, case studies, reference material etc.

(5) Discussion and Conclusions

 

3. Format of Assignment

(1) Words: minimum 3000 to 4000 words

(2) Font: Times New Roman

(3) Margin: 1 Inch from each side

(4) Page Size: A4

(5) Layout: Portrait

(6) Line Space Double

(7) Font Size 12

(8) Heading 12 Bold

 

4. Instructions. Before starting, make sure to follow the instructions that were given to you. The outline should be produced before and while researching and writing assignment because it will serve as the basis around which you will build your work. The main parts should include an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. The structure should be organized and well searched.

Cover page: Align the text that contains your name, course name, your teacher’s name, and the date of the deadline in the center of the page.

 

ü Introduction: The introduction should begin with a statement of the topic to be discussed. Explain the significance of the topic or problem at hand and write about how you plan to discuss or resolve the issue.

ü Body: The body of your text should contain the main points from your topic. Provide information about the topic so that the reader can further understand what is being discussed. Don’t forget certain positions pertaining to the issue and the analysis of the topic you have done. Include recent studies or research on your topic. Don’t forget to insert proper referencing.

ü Conclusion should explain importance, relevance, solutions, suggestions, guidelines and relationship with current scenario as the case may be. Tie everything you’ve been explaining into what you had stated in your introduction. End with a summary about the topic in question.

 

The material written should not be copy paste, otherwise will be rejected. Don’t forget to proof read your assignment for correction of any spelling or grammatical mistakes.
