This course is designed in continuation of Public International Law-I. Being acquainted with the fundamentals of the course, the students will be introduced the most important international law issues e.g.; nationality, international disputes and their settlements and international institutions.

Intened Learning Outcomes

The study will enable to the students to evaluate, analytically the authenticity of International Law as law and also about the wincing of international institutions and to find out the reasons and solution for their improvement.

The course outlines enables the students to understand the:

  • Fundamental principles of international law.
  • Application of international law and role of international institutions.
  • Critical analysis of strengths and weaknesses of international institutions.
  • Prevailing international issues and role of international law.
  • International Human Rights Law and its enforcement.

    Assessment Criteria

    Sessional Marks includes Short Assignment(s)/ Quiz(s)/Project/Presentation/Class Participation: 20 Marks

    Mid-Term Exam: 30 Marks

    Final Exam:   50 Marks

    Note: In addition to the mandatory and recommended readings students should keep themselves updated to the
    latest case law which is the mandatory part of the reading material and will be included in the final.
