This course introduces students to major theorists and researches in the field of discourse analysis; fosters awareness of coherence and other textual features in written texts, trains students in a variety of analytical methods so that students are able to carry out a piece of research work using authentic data.

Midterm : 30 Marks
Final Term: 50 Marks
Sessional: 20 Marks
Note: Sessional marks may include for class presentations, assignments etc.
