The course introduces students to major theorists and researches in the field of discourse analysis; fosters awareness of coherence and other textual features in written texts, trains students in a variety of analytical methods so that students are able to carry out a piece of experimental work using authentic data.

1- Timetable: 

Every Monday and Tuesday 

from 0200 pm to 0330 pm for the Self Support class, and Every Wednesday to Friday from 0900am to 1000am for the Regular class. 

2- Evaluation Criteria: 

Midterm : 30 Marks

Final Term: 50 Marks

Sessional: 20 Marks

Note: Sessional marks may include for class presentations, assignments etc.
