Week 5-6:Television Camera
The television camera is a device that employs light-sensitive image sensors to convert an optical image into a sequence of electrical signals—in other words, to generate the primary components of the picture signal. The television camera is the single most important piece of production equipment. Other production equipment and techniques are greatly influenced by the camera's technical and performance characteristics. Although the electronics of the television camera have become increasingly complex, its new systems make it much simpler to operate.
