Lecture 6 "Adverbs"

A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies a verb(he sings "loudly"),  an adjective(he is "very" tall), or another adverb(It ended "too" quickly) is called an adverb.

It expresses the relation of place, time, circumstances, manner, cause, degree etc. For example, gently, quite, then, there etc. 

Types of adverb:

Adverb of degree

Adverb of frequency

Adverb of reason

Adverb of place

Adverb of time

Adverb of manner

These types help to identify the several parts of sentences.
