Week 7: Circuit Theorems | Source Transformation and Thevenin's Theorem
We have noticed in previous lessons that series-parallel combination and wye-delta transformation help simplify circuits. Source transformation is another tool for simplifying circuits. Basic to these tools is the concept of equivalence.
To handle the complexity, engineers over the years have developed some theorems to simplify circuit analysis. Such theorems include Thevenin’s theorem.
