Commencement and CONVERSION.
A public company, unlike a private company, needs to take certain steps after its incorporation but before it can commence its business operations. After completing these legal requirements, the company is awarded the certificate of commencement of business and thus become able to start performing its functions.
A company may be converted from one form to another. The requirements are provided in the Companies Act, 2017.
