Course Introduction
This is introductory and foundation course related to functions and objectives of Agrcultural Extension with special to Pakistan.
Learning outcomes
After studying this introductory course, the students will be able to understand:
1. The concept, scope and significance of agricultural extension
2. History of agricultural extension in Pakistan
3. Principles of effective agricultural extension work
4. Diffusion & adoption of agricultural innovations
5. Extension teaching methods
6. Application and signficance of communication and communication skills
7. Monitoring & evaluation in agricultural extension
Assessment criteria
Sessional + Assignments: 20 Marks (students will submit two assignments one before mid exam and one before final exam)
Mid Exam: 30
