DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

The religion of Islam is based on the message delivered by Muhammad. This course offers an introduction to the biography of the Prophet Muhammad. This course will focus primarily on the key incidents in the Prophet’s life and reflect on his life in terms of his character, role and relationship in society and how his community perceived him both before and after prophet hood. The aim of the course is for learners to advance their understanding of the prophetic biography. The course is designed to challenge students in a relaxed and comfortable environment. By the end of the course students will become more confident t in the Sīrah. 

The students of Islamic studies can attain thorough guidance and true insight from Seerah studies. They will be able to cope up with today’s social and religious challenges by seeking wisdom of prophet Muhammad (SAW) through Seerah studies.

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

The Students will be able to :

• Understand the social ,economical ,political and religious scenario of pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula.
• Get the introduction of the basic sources of Seerah studies.
• Understand the importance and rational of Seerah studies.
• Learn the life history of the Prophet before and after the revelation in the perspective of Madni and Makki life.

• (مکی و مدنی دور)۔رسول اللہ ﷺ کا طریقہ دعوت و تبلیغ
• رسول اللہﷺ کا طریقہ انقلاب معاشی سیاسی اخلاقی تعلیمی دفاعی اور مذہبی پالیسا ں اور انکے اثرات
• رسول اللہ ﷺ کی سیرت کی روشنی میں جدید مسائل کا حل
• غیر مسلموں کے رسول اللہ ﷺ کا سلوک اور پالیسی
• عہد نبوی میں خارجہ پالیسی، قانون بین الممالک کا آغاز،وثائق اور معاہدات

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Submission of assignments after due date will result in the deduction of sessional marks.
• Failure of submission of assignments will affect your sessional marks at the end of semester
• Plagiarism is not allowed in projects and assignments . Plagiarism involves an attempt to use an element of another person’s work, without appropriate acknowledgement in order to gain academic credit.
