The foremost objective of extension and advisory services is to assist farming community in gaining new knowledge and skills to solve their issues and problems and to improve their livelihood and quality of life. To gain this objective extension field staff develops various extension programs. There is dire need of skills to develop a sound extension program targeting farmers’ issues. Therefore this course is designed to train prospective extension agents in designing and developing farmers’ needs orientated extension program.
