The subject aims to promote awareness among the students about Pakistan. The course has been designed to enable the students to understand the ideological background of Pakistan. It also provides knowledge about history, culture, economy, politics, geography and environment. Through its studies, students also gain an understanding of historical skills and concepts, and examine different interpretations of historical events. The subject also provides students an appreciation of the heritage, the opportunities and challenges facing by Pakistan.
