DESCRIPTION& OBJECTIVES

Students will conduct research in laboratory and field. They will collect, analyze and describe data to write scientific report.

The basic objective of this course is that the students will be able to:-

  • Design field and laboratory experiments
  • Carry out research independently in field and laboratory
  • Prepare scientific report/thesis
  • Able to analyze and describe scientific data

CONTENTS

Practical:

  1. Proposal development, on spot field training and report writing and project presentation (Format as per thesis manual of the university).
  2. Each student will be assigned a topic and perform experiment in laboratory and field to collect the data. This data will be analysed and interpreted and finally presented in the form of report.
  3. Student will read peer-reviewed article and write and present the summary of that article.
