The aim of this course is to develop a solid theoretical and mathematical background in the Smapling techinque, Statistical hypothesis and regression analysis that's helps in predicting and forecasting the results, also the applicable knowledge about statistics, which can apply in food science. The course deals with the basic concepts of sampling, requirements of a good sample, determination of sample size and conceptual formation of sampling techniques especially for simple random sampling and stratified random sampling. It's also focus on the testing of hypothesis related to single population mean, two means, analysis of varaince, concepts of regression and correlation.
