The aim of this course is to provide Basic Knowledge of Statistics and tell the students of chemistry  how to collect and elaborate data,Also discussed how to present the data in different forms.In this course  we also discuss some basic about probability Theory. More over in this course we discussed the Statistical inference Which tells us that we can obtain information about a population by use of samples drawn from it. Regression and correlation is also discussed in it.   

Course Objectives:

A prime objective of the course is to introduce the students to the fundamentals of the Statistics and present techniques and basic results of the theory and illustrate these concepts with applications. The course will also present the basic about regression and statistical inference
