• Week: 13. Inertial and non- inertial frame, Postulates of relativity, Lorentz Transformation, with explanation (time, length, mass, velocity). Problems.
• Week: 14. Mass energy relation and its importance, Relativistic momentum, Relativistic energy. Lorentz invariants (Prove equation). Problems.
• Week 15: Waves and Oscillations, Energy transported by waves. Harmonic Oscillations, travelling waves, wave equation, principle of superposition.
• Week 16: Waves in Physical Media, Resonance, Oscilations, Simple Harmonic motion , Energy in the simple harmonic oscilator , simple harmonic motion related to uniform circular motion .
