Week 10: purification of biopharmaceutical
Chapter 6: Downstream processing. Page 140 to 158
In this week studied about the various chromatographic techniques for the purification of biopharmaceutical or for the removal of protein based and non-protein based contaminants. In this week, we majorly discussed the ion exchange chromatography, affinity chromatorgraphy, hydrophobic interaction chromatography, gel filtration chromatography. Other than this some other types of chromatography were also studied but in less details as they were the modifications of previously studied chromatography techniques.
