Week 11: Final product formulations and its processing
Chapter 6: Downstream processing. Page 158 to 172
In the week, we learnt about the final product formulation.
Before packing the Biopharmaceutical in its vials/container/pouches, the product is sterilized and checke for any changes like glycosylation, deamidation etc.
After the packing of drug in vials, some drugs are lypholized to increase their shelf life and to make them more stable.
