Week 01-02: Introduction to parametric equation and calculus with parametric equation

Learning outcomes:

In this chapter student will learn new ways to define curves in the plane. Instead of taking a curve as the graph of a function or equation, it is taken as the path of a moving particle whose position is changing over time. Then each of the x- and y-coordinates of the particle’s position becomes a function of a third variable t.
