LEARNING OUTCOMES: After reading Chapter 6 , Students will be able : 1. State the relation between a construct and a variable. 2. Distinguish among categories of variables (e.g., categorical and quantitative; dependent and independent) and the scales to measure them (e.g., nominal,ordinal,interval and ratio).
