Stretch-traction,stretch-glide mobilization and Manipulation
Spinal Mobilization
Spinal mobilization (MOB) is defined as the application of manual force to the spinal joints within the passive range of joint motion that does not involve a thrust.
Manipulation:
Thrust is a high-velocity, short-amplitude motion such that the patient cannot prevent the motion.
• The motion is performed at the end of the pathological limit of the joint and is intended
- to alter positional relationships,
- snap adhesions,
- to stimulate joint receptors.
