Rural community development programs of Pakistan

Since independence government launched various rural community development programs from time to time like Village-AID Program, Basic Democracy System, Rural Works Program, Integrated Rural Development Program, Peoples Works Program in Pakistan. Strengths and weaknesses of programs are discussed at length and an effort was made to find out why community development programs could not achieve its stated objectives.
