A forest or natural resource management plan is a specific statement of the objectives you have for your land, followed by a series of activities that will take place in order to meet those objectives. In essence, your plan is a "road map" to guide you from where you are to where you want to be. so management plan can be defined as it is a written document aiming at the continuity of policy and action both prescribing and continuing the basic operation to obtain the desired objective from the forest estate for a specific period of time according to the current forest policy or national forest policy. The forest is a valuable asset and a comprehensive management plan is required. The written plan of management (working plan) is the principal planning document at the forest level. Its brings together all the facts relevant to the management of forest, lays down the objectives to be attained, evaluates the various feasible ways of attaining them, prepares as action program for the period of the plan to further the attainment of the objectives in the manner decided on, and prescribes a control to ensure that the plan prescriptions are carried out or the reason for not carrying them out are brought to light so that corrective measures can be adopted.
