### Basic Mathematics (ISLS-5103)

Introduction: According to some people, maths is just the use of complicated formulas and calculations which won’t be ever applied in real life. But, maths is the universal language which is applied in almost every aspect of life. For example, calculation, making routine budget, exercising and training, construction purpose, interior designing, fashion designing, sports, mangement
of timming etc.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, the students will be able to demonstrate that they have learned and understand the basic skills of mathemtaics. They should learned that how mathematics is used in their fields.

Course Contents:

Rate, Ratio, Percentage, Proportions, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Inequalities, Real Numbers, Complex Numbers, Relations and Functions, Quadratic Functions, Matrices, Determinants, Sequence and Series, Trigonometric Functions, Trigonometric Identities, Trigonometric Applications, Probability and Binomial Theorem, Partial Fractions
