The brief description of this course is,

1. The course is related to the udnerstanding of basic unit processes and unit operations as applied in industry   
2. The primary objective is to teach the students about every concept in detail.
3. The students will learn as to how a balanced chemical equationn is converted to a huge set up for commercial production of a product of need in an economic way. .
4. The safety and hazards involved in industry in common and in particular as varied from industry to industry according to the demand of reaction type..  
5. The students learn how an expensive product can be economically commercialized through apparently cheap and useless by-products.
6. They are taught about the requirements of Environment Protection Agencies (EPAs) for safe disposal of solid, liquid or gaseous waste from industries into the environment.
