Course Title: Physiology of Homoeostasis
Course Code: ZOL-7127
Credit Hours: 03
Instructor: Dr. Khawaja Raees Ahmad

Introduction to course

Homeostasis is the body's effort to keep a constant internal environment. This course will  provide an integrated knowledge and understanding of the major principles of homeostasis involved in the maintenance body physiological conditions. Themes in this course include the understandings on needs and body regulatory capicities of temprature and osmotic conditions, the organs involved in these regulations, adaptiveness, learnings and behavioral improvisations.

Course pre requisites (if any)

Basic animal physiology and physiological mechanisms should be known to the students

Learning outcomes

1. This course will inculcate the concept and importance of homoeostasis for animal life

2. It will develop a discrete concept of needs and mechanisms of homoeostastatic regulations
