Inorganic Chemistry-I

This  course aims at providing infromation about inorganic chemistry. The major topics to be covered in this course are:

  1. Structures of inorganic molecules
  2. Chemistry of d-block elements
  3. Chemistry of f-block elemnts
  4. Non – aqueous Solvent

Learning outcomes

After completing this course students will be able to understand:

  • Structure of inorganic molecules with the help of VSEPR theory and orbital hybridization
  • structure and applications of transition elements
  • Extraction and structure of lanthanides and actanides
  • Reaction taking place in non-aqeous solvents
