Introduction:

This course is designed to introduce the students to the major themes of Ancient Indian History. The Students are expected to have knowledge of to the ancient Indian History. The Course will emphasize on how distinctly the Ancient Indian History took shape during this period. Move over, the course will focus on Social, Cultural, religious and political upheavals, which took place during this time period in the subcontinent.

Learning Outcomes:

Aftrer the successful completion of the course, the students will be able to analyze intellectual, social, religious and Political aspects of the ancient Indian History. The students will be able to set the context for medieval and modern Indian history by studying the developments during ancient Indian times.
