Sports Psychology

Sport psychology is a science in which the principles of psychology are applied in a sport and exercise setting.  These  principles  are  often  applied  to  enhance  performance, and the study of the effect of psychological and emotional factors on sport performance,  and  the  effect  of  sport  involvement  on  psychological  and  emotional  factors.

Learning outcomes

  • to inculcate a sense of team spirit and group dynamics among the students
  • To understand various modes of exercises (mental and physical) for ensuring an optional morale
  • The role of psychologist in intiating and sustaining optimal motivation on and off ground
