Introduction

The course aims to:

  1. Provide understanding about taxonomic characteristics and classification of each phylum
  2. Develop concepts of evolutionary relationship of animal kingdom
  3. Provide knowledge and understanding about the different animal groups with special emphasis on their phylogenetic relationships

Learning Outcomes

  1. .to be able to understand classification and diversity in phylum chordata
  2. . evolutionary ties among different classes included in chordate and their biology.
