INTRODUCTION TO COURSE

Develop skills in computer-aided drafting and design (CADD), using AutoCAD software. Learn the features and considerations associated with the computer as a drafting/design tool. Receive step-by-step instruction on AutoCAD commands, mode settings, drawing aids, shortcuts, and other valuable characteristics of AutoCAD. The students will learn to use AutoCAD to prepare working drawings (floor plan and elevations) for a small residence, prepare isometric drawings with AutoCAD and dimension architectural drawings following accepted practices. No previous AutoCAD knowledge or prior experience required.


LEARNING OUTCOMES

After the successful completion of this course students will be able to
Complete the different drafting projects that will be helpful in their work in professional field.
They will gain the skills and project-based experience need as drafter.
Ability to create innovative practice and independently solve problems.
They can manually and digitally work as drafter.
Able to do research and work on practice of drafting. 
Ability to create independently innovative design and idea.
