DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES

This is three credit hours course and designed to develop the project and program development skills of the students and preparation of extension program at practical level.

Objectives

At the completion of this course, the students will be able to:

·         Develop an instructional plan

·         Select an appropriate extension method

·         Apply the given extension method under the given situation

·         Apply teaching-learning process

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

Students will be able to identify different types of extension methods. They will be able to differentiate among different programs of agricultural and rural development programs. This course will provide a complete understanding of all types of extension methods to develop an execution for extension techniques. Students will be able to apply different techniques models in their research projects.

Practical

Each student will develop an instructional plan for a given extension-teaching situation. The student(s) will be involved in micro teaching/field situation concerning agricultural extension work.
