DESCRIPTION& OBJECTIVES

Companies play a significant role in the development of any country. This course will enable the students to know companies, its different kinds, incorporation & conversion. It will help the students to understand legal documents of a company. The students will analyse the concept of capital, management & operations of companies, statutory meetings & winding up of companies.

 INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

After studying this course, students will not only become successful corporate lawyers but can also become successful executives of companies.

Contents of the course would be strictly followed as per the Course Outline provided by the Law College UoS.

RESEARCH PROJECT

In lieu of Mid-term exams , a  written assignment minimum of 3000 to 4000 words having 30 Maks was required to be submitted by the students.In this regard topics to students were duly assigned.Clear guidelines regarding the structure and format of the assignment  were given to students well before time by the department.

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

Sessional: 20 Marks

Mid-Term: 30 Marks

Final Exam: 50 Marks
