Historical Background of Creation of Pakistan

After the passing of the Lahore Resolution and with the advent of Cripps Mission India, the famous Gandhi- Jinnah talk held during the month of September 1944. They were brought about largely by the efforts of Rajagopal Acharia the former Congress Premier of Madras, to resolve the Congress-League deadlock on the issue of Pakistan, responding to appeals that he should take the initiative in opening negotiations with the representatives of both the communities. These discussions were questioned with great contempt as nothing concrete came out from it. However, the answer lays in the great tactical and political victory that Jinnah snatched from these talks. For the very first time, Jinnah was publicly and politically recognized as the representative of Muslims. After a great struggle, the Muslims of Indian achieved their goal in the shape of Pakistan.
