Week 3-4 : Analytical functions and their applications

Analytic function:

A complex function is said to be analytic on a region R if it is complex differentiable at every point in R.

Analytic Functions are also defined as per the converging series; that revolves around a particular variable x for which the series has been expanded. Almost all the functions that we obtained from the basic algebraic and arithmetic operations and the elementary transcendental functions are analytic in every point on their domain. The terms holomorphic function, differentiable function, and complex differentiable function are sometimes used interchangeably with "analytic function". Many mathematicians prefer the term "holomorphic function" (or "holomorphic map") to "analytic function", while "analytic" appears to be in widespread use among physicists, engineers, and in some older texts.
