A. Introduction
The major objective of this course is to develop an understanding and appreciation of financial theories as they apply to corporate financial decisions and to understand the implications for problem solving. This is an advanced course in Financial Management assuming that students have an understanding with fundamentals of Financial Management. The focus is on how financial management can create value for the firm. While study this course, students will be able to revise and develop their theoretical concepts. Students can apply theoretical knowledge and learned skills as expected by senior financial executives or advisers, in taking or recommending decisions relating to the financial management of an organization in private and public sectors.
