Week 2:Understanding computer system

A computer system is a set of integrated devices that takes input, processes it and give output. Also it store data and information.computer system allows users to input, manipulate, and store data. Computer systems include a CPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse and other optional components.

You will be able to:

  • Assess the importance of operating systems and virtual memory
  • Describe and compare storage, input, and output device
  • Discuss factors affecting the performance of a system
  • Identify the functions of the hardware in a computer system
  • Explore different types of software such as application, system, and utility Investigate how devices interact with the operating system and other software
