Motion Along a Straight Line
Motion Along a Straight Line
During this week, the ideas behind Position, Displacement, Average Velocity, Average Speed, Instantaneous Velocity and Instantaneous Speed, Acceleration, Constant Acceleration will be discussed along with its related problems will be discussed. Our learning objectives will focus to identify that if all parts of an object move in the same direction and at the same rate, we can treet the object as if it were a (point-like) particle. Identify that the postion of particle is its location as read on a scaled axis, such as an x-axis and will apply the relationship between a particle's displacement and its initital and final position. From these relations we will drive particle's average velocity, instananeous velocity, acceleration.
