Week 6: Psychoanlaytical Criticism

Develpoment and evolution of Psychology as a distinct mode of inquiry has impacted alomst all of the major disciplines of human knowledge. Literature and Linguistics were no exception.

This theoretical framework and approach has brought sea change in our interpretetive modes and applications of literary criticism to evaluate literary texts. It has also demystified certain thematic and contextual ambivalences of a specific literary and non literary text.
